Setting your goals for the program
In this module, you will become orientated to how the program works and set your intentions for the program. Which will include:
- Write specific goals you will be working towards over the next 8 weeks
- Revisit your WHY for having your surgery
- Schedule the weekly Q&A calls into your diary
MODULE 2
Progress through dietary stages
In this module, you will receive detailed education and support for every dietary stage post WLS. Which will include:
- Education and support for the dietary phase you are going through during the program.
- Food and meal lists to support variety at each stage post-WLS
- Education on how to overcome some of the common challenges after bariatric surgery, such as low appetite, nausea, when to take multivitamins

You will learn about protein and fluid after WLS. Which will include:

- How to slow down your eating and avoid overeating
- The basics of not drinking before and after each meal, plus how to remember to do it!
- Relearn to listen to your body and its new sensations when you have eaten enough

Eating Schedule
In this module, we will learn and understand the impact of a regular eating schedule on your WLS success. Which will include:
- How to develop personal eating schedule
- Overcome the barriers to eating regularly
- Personalize your eating schedule to fit YOUR lifestyle

Meal Planning Ideas
In this module, we will learn how to master meal planning and be confident on making good choices. Which will include:
- Developing lists of high protein meals and snacks that YOU like
- Learning to increase variety in your diet, whatever stage you are at post surgery
- Planning your meals so you do not need to weigh your food ever again

Eating Out
In this module, we will learn how to eat out and stay on track after WLS. Which will include:
- Becoming more confident in making better food choices off the menu
- Learning strategies to navigate some of the challenges when eating out

Why did I decide to follow the path of bariatric work?
I could deeply see a need for compassionate education and support in the area of weight loss surgery. I saw so many people struggling to find support, whether it be due to limited support provided by their bariatric center, having surgery out of their own country or not feeling heard by the dietitian they had been directed to see.
I could see the need for customised support. Empowered education. A hand to hold.
So, I decided to provide WLS education online - so accessible no matter where you live.
With the support of technology, my mission is to teach those preparing for and post weight loss surgery to make empowered, specialised nutrition choices that will see their results last a lifetime.
As an accredited practising dietitian and mindful eating educator, I facilitate your journey so you can move through your challenges feeling supported, empower you with knowledge and remove barriers to achieve the best outcomes from your WLS.
